Rhodes College Athletics

Rhodes College has benefited from many exceptional athletes, coaches, and other individuals who together have contributed greatly to the Rhodes student experience and advanced the name and reputation of Rhodes College. In 1996 the college established the Athletic Hall of Fame to honor and memorialize those whose athletic excellence, dedication, and perseverance brought honor to Rhodes College.

Nominations to the Athletic Hall of Fame are accepted in four categories:

- Individuals who earned at least two varsity letters and graduated at least 10 years ago;

- Teams with all starting members having graduated at least 10 years ago;

- Coaches and athletic administrators who have concluded a term of service at least five years prior to selection or have begun service at Rhodes at least fifteen years prior to selection;

- Individuals who have contributed significantly to Rhodes athletics may be considered for induction as a Distinguished Service honoree.
