Rhodes College Athletics

Lester Crain was an outstanding two way football player for the Lynx during the 1947-50 seasons. He also sprinted for the Rhodes track team during his athletic career. Lester earned his law degree from Harvard before serving in the Navy, flying fighter jets off carriers.

For over sixty years, Lester has given Rhodes College countless hours, serving on the Board of Trustees as well as numerous other college committees
