Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame
Demetri Patikas was a two sport athlete at Rhodes College, competing with the track and field program as well as a wide receiver for the Lynx football team.
On the gridiron, Patikas was an All-CAC wide receiver both his junior and senior seasons. Standing at 6'3", Patikas gave defenses nightmares with his great hands, leading the Lynx in receptions his senior season with 47.
In 1992, Patikas was a terrific all-around athlete with the Lynx track and field program. His throw of 189'9" was second in school history at the time and still remains in the top 10 today.
