Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame
Amy Paine was an outstanding cross country and track and field runner for the Lynx in the early 2000s. She was a two time All-American in the mile, placing second in the 2003 NCAA Outdoor Championships and third in the 2003 NCAA Indoor Championships. She was a nine time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference champion as well as the individual champion in the 2001 SCAC Cross Country Championship.
Amy won six individual events in track and is the school record holder in the 1500, 3000, and 5000. Amy led the Lynx to SCAC championships in 1999, 2001, and 2002 in cross country and 2002 in track.
