  • Two-time team Most Valuable Player
  • First team All-Conference 2010 and 2011
  • First team All-Tournament team 2011
  • Second team All-Region 2010 and 2011

  • Academic All-American 2011
  • All-time single-season Lynx record holder for lowest ERA, in 2011
  • Third in Lynx record book in both career appearances and saves, and 5th in career ERA
  • Pitching 10.2 innings, allowing only one run in the 2011 SCAC Tournament
  • One of only 56 recipients of NCAA post-graduate scholarships in 2011
Hunter graduated in 2011 with Phi Beta Kappa honors and a 3.96 cumulative GPA in Economics and Business. Off the field, he served as a Peer Tutor and Resident Assistant. He used the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship to attend the College of Charleston, where he pursued an MBA in finance and earned the distinction of Most Outstanding Finance Student in 2012.

Coach Jeff Cleanthes said of him, “Hunter epitomized the definition of student-athlete. I have never coached anyone as determined as Hunter to succeed on the field and be the best student off the field.”

In recognition of his accomplishments as a student-athlete, Rhodes is honored to induct Hunter Chandler into the Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame this 25th day of October, 2025.
