Brad Jenkins, a leader on both the football and baseball teams, is one of Rhodes' all-time best two-sport athletes.

His Lynx football career included being a three-year starter at defensive end, where he led the team in sacks with 11.5 during his senior year. He was also First-Team All-Conference in 1989 and 1991 and was named a pre-season All-American by the College Football Preview during his junior and senior campaigns.

Brad’s acumen on the baseball field was just as impressive as his football exploits. He was a four-year starter for the Lynx, earning All-Conference honors in 1989, 1990, and 1992. He was the team's Most Valuable Player in 1992 and stands fifth in Rhodes Baseball history with an all-time batting average of .427.

A biology major, he put forth the same effort in the classroom as he did on the football and baseball fields, earning him a spot on the College Sports Information Academic All-American Baseball team in 1992.

Brad was awarded the prestigious Seidman Award in 1992, the annual award given to the most outstanding male student-athlete. He was also honored by the Memphis Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame with the scholar-athlete award in 1992.

Upon graduation, he attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class, and has been instrumental in the care provided to patients at Baptist Health in Little Rock since 1999.

In recognition of his accomplishments as a student-athlete in Football and Baseball, Rhodes is honored to induct Brad Jenkins into the Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame this 25th day of October, 2025.
