Robert's stats, records, and achievements tell most of the story, but he, along with fellow Hall of Famer Daniel Vanaman, changed the culture of Rhodes Baseball. Before his arrival in the fall of 2005, the baseball program had only one season over .500 in the past two decades. Robert was part of Coach Cleanthes first recruiting class that went on to win 28 games in 2006, 36 in 2007, which is still a Rhodes record, and 28 in 2008
 
Robert holds the record for most career wins at Rhodes with 30; other accolades include All SCAC 1^st team 2006, 2007, and ABCA All-American in 2007.  In the SCAC, he is 5^th all-time in wins, 6^th all-time in strikeouts, and 3^rd in most wins in a season. In 2006 he set the single-season win record with ten wins and a new record with 12 wins during the 2007 season. Following the record-setting season in 2007, Robert was named to the ABCA 1^st Team All-South Region. He was also named to the SCAC 30^th anniversary baseball team.
