Jessica Brown Harris embodied the best of Rhodes College as an accomplished and decorated student-athlete. Her exploits in the classroom mirror her exploits on the field.

Her accomplishments on the field are unrivaled in the history of Rhodes Softball. She remains in the Lynx Softball record books in multiple single-season categories, including;
  • First in home runs
  • Third in RBI’s
  • Fourth in hits
  • Fourth in doubles
  • Fourth and fifth in slugging percentage
She is also second in career home runs.

The pinnacle of her accolades was being named a National Fast Pitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American in 2013. In addition to that lofty accomplishment, she was named First-team All-Region in 2013 and First-team All-Conference.

Jessica was an excellent student and was recognized as a three-time member of the All-Conference Academic Team and a two-time national NFCA Academic All-American.

After Rhodes, she earned a PharmD at the University of Georgia and today practices as an oncology pharmacist.

A former teammate remarks about Jessica: "She was our team captain for two years and made an impact on every member of our team. There is no better representative of Rhodes, Rhodes Athletics, and Rhodes Softball than Jessica.”

In recognition of her accomplishments as a Softball player, Rhodes is honored to induct Jessica Brown Harris into the Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame this 25th day of October, 2025.
