Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame
Larry Hayes was a three year starter at offensive guard for the Lynx football team after transferring from Vanderbilt University, where he was a walk-on player. Hayes earned All-College Athletic Conference honors in 1987 and 1988 and was named to the prestigious Division III Kodak All-American team. Hayes was intregal part in the Lynx going a combined 15-2-2 in his final two years. The 1987 team took home the CAC Championship while the 1988 team participated in the NCAA Playoffs.
A member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Larry was an attorney in Nashville at the time of his induction.
