Rhodes College sprinter
Olivia Freeman has qualified for the
2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, securing her spot among the nation's best with a stellar performance in the
60m dash for the third consecutive season. Freeman is also
1 of just 10 athletes from the Southern Athletic Association to qualify for the national meet.
Freeman's dominant indoor season has been highlighted by several impressive performances, including a
7.62-second sprint in the 60m dash, which is
.02 seconds faster than her qualifying time from last season and ultimately secured her place at nationals. She has been a consistent force in the SAA throughout the season, finishing second at the SAA Indoor Championships. With her current mark, Freeman is
ranked 18th in the nation in the event.
Freeman will compete in
Birmingham, Alabama on
March 13–14, representing Rhodes on the national stage with an opportunity to earn All-American honors and continue showcasing the strength of the Rhodes track and field program.
