Atlanta, Ga. – The SAA has announced its men's tennis athletes of the week for competitions from the first weekend in March.

Athlete of the Week:
SINGLES: Daniel Trudell | Rhodes | Senior | Kenner, La.  went 2-0 at the No. 1 singles position over the weekend. Friday Trudell was up 6-5 in the final set returning down 40-0 before winning four points in a row to clinch a 5-4 team win over DePauw with a 6-4, 0-6, 7-5 win over Samuel Pia. Saturday Trudell picked up a second win for the week over Hanover's Joey Keal 6-4, 6-1. 
 
DOUBLES: Rhodes
Christian Mainella | Sophomore | Toronto, Canada / Paul Fridman | Sophomore | Atlanta, Ga. - combined to go 2-0 in Indiana over the weekend. Friday the the duo defeated DePauw's Teagan Crow and Samuel Pia 8-6 at the #3 position to help secure a 5-4 team win. Saturday Mainella and Fridman added a convincing 8-1 win at the #2 doubles position over Hanover's Mario Bravo and Ashley Hunter.
