Sophomore forward Luke Grant of Rhodes College has been named the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Offensive Player of the Week, following his exceptional performances in two crucial conference matchups this past weekend.

Grant, a standout from San Diego, Calif., sparked the Lynx offense with two pivotal goals, demonstrating his offensive prowess. On Friday, October 18, he netted the game-winning goal in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Sewanee. His decisive strike proved critical in securing the win for Rhodes in a fiercely contested match.

He continued his impressive form on Sunday, October 20, scoring late in the first half against Centre College. Grant's goal cut Centre's lead to 2-1, keeping Rhodes within striking distance throughout the match.

Grant's performance over the weekend has solidified his status as one of the conference's most dangerous offensive players, helping to position the Lynx for success as they continue their SAA campaign.
