Cleveland, Miss. - The Rhodes swimming and diving teams completed their second weekend of competition on several high notes Saturday against Delta State University. 

In the afternoon, first years John Beuerlein and Lauren Cordes made headlines. In his second day of collegiate competition, Beuerlein scored 428.09 points on 11 dives at the 1-meter height, shattering Rhodes' program record. He also scored 284.25 points on six dives at the 3-meter height. Cordes swam the second-best time in program history in the 1000 free in a time of 10:29.49. All three marks are currently the best in NCAA Division III for this season.

Emma Younce's 100 back time of 58.64 is also the second best time in program history and is also the fifth best time in D-III this season.

Several Lynx jumped into their program's all-time top-10 lists today while others improved their positions. Below are top times from day two of the meet against Delta State that fall within our top-10 lists:
