Rhodes delivered a historic performance in the 400-yard medley relay at the NCAA Division III Championships, advancing to the championship final and rewriting the program record books in the process.

In the prelims, the Lynx turned in a standout swim of 3:14.30, finishing eighth overall and breaking the school record while securing a spot among the nation's top eight teams. Entering with a seed time of 3:15.77, Rhodes dropped significant time when it mattered most, as the relay of Josh Denckhoff, Jack Whitten, Liam Ashton, and Will Wertenberger combined for one of the fastest swims in program history.

Returning for the championship final, Rhodes placed eighth in the nation with a time of 3:17.12, capping off an impressive showing on the national stage. Denckhoff led off the relay, followed by Whitten (breaststroke), Ashton (butterfly), and Wertenberger (freestyle) as the Lynx competed against an elite field that included top NCAA DIII talent. Rhodes' finals appearance, paired with their record-breaking prelim swim, marks a major milestone for the program and underscores their emergence among the top teams in Division III.

The team also earned All-American Honors which is a first for a men's relay team in the SAA.
