Memphis - With all of the rain, Rhodes women's tennis' home opener against NCAA Division II Delta State was moved indoors to The Racquet Club Saturday night. 

Caroline Doherty and Dasha Safarian fell by only two points at No. 1-doubles and Doherty was the only Lynx to almost take a set from her opponent. At No. 2-singles she forced a tie-breaker with a 7-6 loss in set two. 

Rhodes will travel to Huntingdon College for two matches this Saturday in Montgomery, Alabama. The Lynx will first take on Belhaven in the morning, followed by the hosts in the afternoon.
