MEMPHIS - The Rhodes College women's tennis team picked up their third win of the weekend as they knocked off the Ozarks by the score of 9-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Dunavant Tennis Complex.
After withstanding a 2+ hour rain delay, the two teams finally hit the court in the afternoon, fighting off gusty winds and overcast skies.Â
In doubles action, the team of senior
Morgan Wilkins and freshman
Natalie Arnold picked up an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles while the No. 3 team of sophomore
Sara Lynn Abbott and freshman
Mary Mullen won 8-2 at No. 3 doubles.

Anna Volkov made it a clean sweep in doubles action with an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles.
In singles action, Rhodes was completely dominant with no match going more than two sets. Volkov and freshman Madeline McDonald won at No. 2 and No. 5 singles 6-0, 6-0 while Arnold and Abbott each won at No. 3 and No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-0.Â
Doherty picked up a victory at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-3, and Mullen was victorious at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-3 to complete the clean sweep.
Rhodes moves to 3-0 on the young season and will return to action next weekend as they welcome in Belhaven to the Dunavant Tennis Courts on Friday at 4 PM.
