ATLANTA, Ga. - Rhodes College continued it's winning ways on the women's tennis team, vaulting to a decisive 8-1 victory over the Agnes Scott College Scotties.
Most impressive was the Lynx doubles performance, taking all three doubles points 8-0. Rhodes was dominant throughout, taking No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0, No. 5 singles 6-0, 6-1, and No. 3 and No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-0.
Morgan Wilkins was tested in one of her more difficult matches of the year, taking a tiebreaker in the first set 8-6 before closing out the match with a 6-2 second set.
The Lynx are back in action tomorrow against the twelfth ranked team in the Atlantic South Region, Christopher Newport. The match is at 9 a.m. at Blackburn Tennis Center in the last match of the Southern Shootout.
