Rhodes managed two goals and played well today but fell to a strong Mary Washington squad who has opened the season with four wins including two over ranked teams.  Goalkeepers Jordan Robinson and Kelly Whelan combined for 20 saves on the day.  First year player Kat Simpson had a goal and an assist while Katie Faucher notched an assist and Taylor Mills knocked in the other goal.  Morgan Jones and Florence George scored two each for the Eagles while Caitlin Baker added the fifth goal.  The Lynx held 11-8 advantage in penalty corner opportunities while the Eagles out shot Rhodes 25-13.  The Lynx (2-2) open SCAC play next weekend with a home match up against Hendrix on Saturday at 1 pm.
