Rhodes Women Finish 0-2 At Sewanee

The women were defeated by conference rival Sewanee 7-2. Match wins came at #2 doubles led by senior, Anna Moak and sophomore Carolina Sanchez. In singles, junior, Alex Phipps continues to play very well for the Lynx. Her 6-4,6-4 win at #4 brought her overall record to 3-0 in singles. On Saturday, the women faced nationally ranked Kenyon. Again, #2 doubles, provided the Lynx with a 1-2 start going into singles. Senior, Anna Beth Sanford and Anna Moak provided the Lynx with wins at #1 and #6 but it was not enough as the women lost 6-3.
