Rhodes Field Hockey defeated SCAC rival Centre 1-0 today in a matched moved to Hendrix due to field conditions.  The Lynx Libby Feaster scored her first goal of the season on a penalty corner on an assist from Lindsey Gurkovich with just 12 minutes left to play in regulation.  Meghan Cullen notched the shutout in goal with 4 saves backed by stellar defensive play in the middle by Charlie Wagner, Sara Sanders, and Rachel Webb.  The Colonels out shot the Lynx 5-4 on the game but Rhodes held a 6-3 advantage in penalty corners.  Rhodes will host Transylvania on Sunday at noon.
