Rules
FIFA rules apply.
There is NO OFFSIDES.
There is NO SLIDE TACKLING. Any attempt to slide tackle by a player will result in an indirect kick for the opposing team.
Substitutions will occur on dead ball situations.
In the men's and women's respective leagues, all goals scored count 1 point.
In the Co-Rec League, goals scored by a woman counts the same as male goals.
All fouls committed outside the 18 yard box will result in an indirect kick. Any foul committed within the 18 yard box will result in a penalty kick.

Indirect free kick = the ball must touch someone (anyone ont he field) before the ball can go in the goal.  If the ball enters the goal without a second player (offensive or defensive) touching the ball, the opposing team gets the ball at the spot of the foul.

Direct kick = direct kicks may enter the goal without a second touch
* Penalty kick = the kick occurs just outside the goal box (approximately 12 yards from goal line) and only the kicker and goalie may be in the penalty area (18 yard box)
** The penalty kicker may not touch the ball a second time before another player gets a touch

Excessive Agression
Referees have the right to remove individuals from the field of play for the remainder of the game for excessive aggression or what is deemed extremely unsportsmanlike conduct.  (examples - approaching a player "cleats up", use of profanity, under cutting an opponent attempting to win a ball in the air, any deliberate contact with the goal keeper while they have control of the ball, spitting at an opponent or referee, or using a "slide tackle" in proximity to an opponent)

General Information
The field will be roughly half the size of a regular playing field.
The game will consist of two fifteen-minute halves with a five-minute break period between halves.
Regular season games can end in a tie.  Rankings are based on a point system as follows = 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a lose.  (if two teams are tied in standing before the end of season tournament the tie breaker will be "goal differential")
If  the championship game ends in a tie, the game will be decided on a penalty kick shoot-out. A shoot-out will consist of three players from each team alternating shots on goal. If a tie remains after the first round of the shoot-out, then a second shoot-out will occur with the remaining team members. This procedure will repeat until a winner is determined.
