Biography

Jeff returns to Rhodes after a junior season where he played in a career high 21 games and started two. A strong, physical combo guard, Jeff brings an unparalleled work ethic to the program. He is tough enough to defend multiple positions on the floor, and his talent for being around the basketball helped him grab 18 offensive rebounds from the perimeter position. Jeff is capable of playing multiple position offensively and during his Rhodes career has seen minutes at every guard position. Jeff came to Rhodes after a stellar career at Harrison High School in Acworth, Georgia. Jeff is the son of Ira and Kim Blumenthal, and will graduate this spring with a Business degree. Jeff’s favorite thing about Rhodes College is “the community of the school, it feels like home.” Jeff's favorite thing about Lynx Basketball is “Rhodes Basketball. Going to war with your brothers, working hard and playing the game you love, and doing it with the teammates who have been through everything with you.”
