Biography

Rob returns to Rhodes after a junior season in which he played in a career high 24 games. Rob blocked 33 shots as a junior to give him 75 blocks since coming to Rhodes. Rob’s exceptional shot blocking ability and his soft touch around the basket will earn him quality time at the center position. His length, size and athletic ability make him a defensive force down low for the Lynx. Rob came to Rhodes after a stellar career at McMinn Central High School in Athens, Tennessee. Rob is the son of Robert and Kate Bledsoe, and will graduate this spring with a Business degree. Rob’s favorite thing about Rhodes College “is that although a small school, there are always plenty of things going on, both on campus and around Memphis.” Rob’s favorite thing about Lynx Basketball is the “ability to compete in a perennially tough conference like the SCAC.”
