As the new football season approaches, Rhodes College has been picked seventh with 20 points, according to the 2026 Southern Athletic Association preseason poll. 

The Lynx are coming off of a 0-7 record in SAA play and an overall mark of 1-9 in 2025. They have been building momentum and are looking to make a decisive impact in the SAA. With a dedicated coaching staff and a talented roster, Rhodes aims to challenge the top teams and elevate their status within the conference.

Voting was conducted among the SAA's eight head coaches.
