Offense:
Sadie McRae led the Lynx offense with outstanding playmaking during a tough non-conference weekend in Ohio, controlling the pace of both games with her quarterback-like presence. She was the leading scorer against Washington & Jefferson with 4 goals and 3 assists, and followed that with a historic performance against Mount Union, recording a career-high 8 assists, which ranks as the second-most assists in a single game in program history. Across the weekend, McRae's ability to create opportunities and elevate the offense made her a clear standout.
Defense:
Sam Horowitz delivered a dominant two-way performance for the Lynx during their non-conference weekend in Ohio, making a major impact on both ends of the field. Against Mount Union, Horowitz recorded 2 goals, 3 ground balls, and 4 caused turnovers, anchoring the defense while also contributing offensively. Horowitz followed that with another strong showing against Washington & Jefferson, totaling 4 goals and 1 assist.
