Junior catcher Cooper Angilly has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week, the organization announced. The weekly honor recognizes the top performers nationally at each of nine positions based on nominations from sports information directors. This marks the second Team of the Week selection of the 2026 season and adds to a strong early-year showing for the Lynx.

Angilly powered the Rhodes offense during a perfect weekend at the Rhodes College Classic, helping the Lynx complete a sweep of Concordia-Chicago, Franklin, and the University of Chicago. The junior delivered an outstanding all-around performance at the plate, slashing .778/.692/1.000 while scoring three runs and driving in six.

In addition to his production at the plate, Angilly added impact on the bases and with extra-base power. He went a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts and recorded two doubles among his hits, consistently creating scoring opportunities for the Lynx offense throughout the weekend.

Rhodes will look to carry the momentum from the tournament sweep into the upcoming week of competition.
