Rhodes College was selected third in the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Baseball Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's eight head coaches.

The Lynx totaled 38 points, narrowly edging Berry (37) after Centre finished second with 50 points and Trinity led the poll with 56 points and seven first-place votes.

Rhodes enters the 2026 season as the reigning SAA Champion and begins a new chapter under first-year head coach Rob Schrier. The Lynx return one Second Team All-SAA honoree and two Honorable Mention selections as they look to build on last season's championship run.

The 2026 SAA Baseball Championship will be held May 7–10 in Rome, Georgia, at Advent Health Stadium.
