The Lynx fell short against the Statesmen in a close battle in the pool. The Lynx had a few first place finishes in the tournament, but just came up short in the end.

In the team events, the Lynx were first in the 200 Yard Medley relay, with the A team (Josh Denckhoff, Jack Whitten, Jeb Brownell,  and Jonas Hostetler) finishing with a time of 1:34.63. In the 200 Yard Freestyle relay, the men took second with a time of 1:28.21  (Jack Whitten, Jeb Brownell, Jonas Hostetler, Will Wertenberger). 

First place appearances:

Liam Ashton: 100 Yard Butterfly (53.12)

Josh Denckhoff:  200 Yard Backstroke (1:57.59), 400 Yard IM (4:19.00)

Will Wertenberger: 1000 Yard Freestyle (10:26.00), 500 Yard Freestyle (4:59.56)

Jack Whitten: 100 Yard Breaststroke (58.23), 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:15.92)

Parson Simmons earned points for the Lynx on the 1- meter board, scoring 316.55, earning a top finish.

Looking Ahead: Hendrix College

The Lynx are back in action October 4th at Hendrix College. With momentum building, Rhodes looks to sharpen their performance and take another step toward a championship season.
