Lynx Set to Compete at NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Rhodes College will be well represented at the upcoming NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, taking place from Wednesday, March 19, to Saturday, March 22, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. Two standout Lynx athletes, Paxton Smythe and John Beuerlein, have qualified to compete on the national stage, showcasing their talent against the best in collegiate swimming and diving.

On the women's side, Paxton Smythe will compete in three individual events: the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard breaststroke, and 100-yard freestyle. Her performances throughout the season have solidified her as a key contender in multiple disciplines.

For the men's team, John Beuerlein will take center stage in the one-meter and three-meter diving competitions. His exceptional skills and consistency have earned him a well-deserved spot at the national championships.

Jack Witten is set to showcase his skills on the national stage as he competes in multiple events. He will take on the 200 Breaststroke, 100 Breaststroke, and 50 Freestyle.

Events will begin on Wednesday, March 19, with trials at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. A full schedule of events can be found at NCAA.com.
