The Swim and Dive team took first place for 4 events for the men. Despite falling 39 points short to the Statesmen, the Lynx fought hard and took the majority of the podium for 7 events, and took second place for nearly all of the events.
First for the team events, the men took 2nd and 3rd for both the 200 Meter Medley relay and 400 Yard Freestyle relay. In the 200 Medley relay, the A team (Josh Demckhoff, Jack Whitten, Jen Brownell, Jonas Hostetler) took second with a time of 1:31.85, only milliseconds behind the Statesmen. The B team (Philip Mu, Benji Cummings, Liam Ashton, Nick Kunst) took third (1:34.19). In the 400 Freestyle relay, the A team (Benji Cummings, Daniel Snyder, Jeb Brownell, Nick Kunst) finished 5 seconds behind the Statemens in 2nd with a time of 3:07.94, and the B team (Alex Brann, Eddie Smith, Max Milburn, Liam Ashton) took third place with a time of 3:12.56.
For the divers, John Beuerlein finished the event with a total of 598.20, and took 1st in the 3 meter diving. Simmons Parson also had a great performance, scoring 258.98 in the 1 meter diving event.

Rhodes will be heading back to Delta State University on November 22nd and competing through the 24th. The teams have faced the Statesmens extensively in the past 25 years, and just faced a close loss of a 39 point margin. The next meet is bound to be full of standout performances, and fans are encouraged to support the team during this multi-school wide meet.
