Rhodes College senior wide receiver Brent Barlow has been named to the All-Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Second Team for the 2024 season. This well-deserved recognition highlights Barlow's outstanding performance and key contributions to the Lynx football program throughout his collegiate career.
Barlow is known for his speed, strength, and ability to make clutch plays on the field. Hailing from Coweta, Oklahoma, and a graduate of Coweta High School, Barlow has been a reliable and dynamic playmaker in the Rhodes offense.
Barlow's 2024 season featured standout performances, including a season-high 140 receiving yards against Berry on November 16, 2024. His longest reception of the year, a 77-yard catch, came on November 9, 2024, in an away game against Centre. He also recorded a receiving touchdown in that game, showcasing his knack for delivering in key moments.
Another Rhodes Powerhouse, Mark Fields was named to the SAA Honorable Mentions team.Â
