Box Score In what was supposed to be a rain soaked weekend, Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day for the single game series finale between Rhodes College and #12 Birmingham Southern. 

Unlike the previous two games of the series where Rhodes' scored first, it was the Panthers that came out as the aggressors on Sunday.  BSC plated four in the 1st, one in the 2nd, and two more runs in the 3rd inning to jump out to a 7-0 lead.   

The Lynx defense regrouped in the 4th and 5th, holding BSC scoreless, before the Panthers erupted for five runs in the 6th inning to secure a 12-0 victory.

For Rhodes, senior Lauren King led the way with a 1-for-3 day and no strikeouts at the plate.  

For the Lynx, the loss drops them to 0-3 in conference and 6-9 overall. 

Rhodes returns to action next weekend when they travel to Jackson, Miss. to take on the Millsaps Majors in a four-game series.
