Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Game 1:

After a 1-2-3 top half of the inning, Rhodes would load the bases in the bottom half of the frame with only one out.   After three of the first four batters reached base safely, it was sophomore, Hannah Grace Roden, that laced a line drive to the right side of the infield tipping off the second baseman's glove and scoring senior Lauren King. Unfortunately for Rhodes, the next two batters were retired in order without scoring any additional runs.

BSC would respond with seven unanswered runs until the Rhodes scored two runs in the 5th.  Katelyn Siekerka, who reached base safely on a double, was scored by Marisa Moore, and Hannah Grace Roden was brought home by a single off the bat of Nikki Greuel.   

BSC struck again in the 6th inning, with three more runs of their own to push the lead to 10-3.


Game 2:

After yet another 1-2-3 top half to open of the game, Lauren King again was the first to score, this time off a solo-homerun to center field.  The 1-0 was the second in as many games.  

Yet again, in the 2nd inning, BSC scored two runs to retake the lead, this time on a bloop hit to no man's land with two outs in the inning.  

The 2-1 lead would remain unchanged until BSC added two runs in the 5th and three runs in the 6th, improving their lead to 7-1.

In teh bottom of the 6th, Rhodes would answer with two runs of their own on a Moore fielder's choice scoring King and a Roden sac fly scoring Siekerka.  Unfortunately for Rhodes, it was too-little-too-late as they fell to BSC, 7-3. 


Rhodes is back in action tomorrow to complete the series with a 12 p.m. first pitch.
