They then added another run in the fourth on a solo home run to left field before Moore once again singled in Clark, this time in the fifth inning. Trailing 3-2, Rhodes overcame Olivet by scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth. Samantha Feinstein led off with a walk and eventually scored after Anna Kula reached on a throwing error and then crossed home on a passed ball. In her first collegiate at-bat, Jess Hamer singled in Kula to give Rhodes a 4-3 edge. Hamer moved to third on a sac bunt from Jenna Roulan and then scored when Clark doubled to left field. A Nikki Greuel single to right center scored Clark for the winning run. With the bases loaded and two outs, Feinstein was hit by a pitch as Moore crossed the seventh run for the Lynx.

Olivet cut the deficit to two on two singles, a hit by pitch and a groundout. Feinstein was the only Lynx to record more than one hit (2-for-2) as six different Lynx scored and six different Lynx tallied an RBI. Lauren King picked up the win going six innings in the circle.
