Box Score Murfreesboro, Tenn. - Rhodes College women's tennis suffered a 5-1 loss to No. 2 seeded Centre College Saturday in the 2019 Southern Athletic Association semifinals. The Lynx finished the season 13-5, the most wins in a season since Rhodes went 13-6 in 2010-11. It's also the most wins in a season for head coach

Rhodes' lone win of the day came at No. 2 doubles as
Caroline Doherty and
Kate McGough picked up the 8-4 win. Doherty and
Dallas Bennett suffered three-set losses at No. 3 and No. 5 singles before
Dasha Safarian fell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, allowing Centre to advance to the SAA Championship game.Â
Rhodes will lose senior Doherty to graduation as well as junior
Mia Mullen who will be graduating next December.Â
