Rhodes College track and field senior Spencer Fields (Kingston, Ga./Darlington School) has been named the conference's men's track Runner of the Week, as announced by the Southern Athletic Association on April 10, 2019. 

Fields ran the sixth fastest time in NCAA Division III to finish in third place at the Colonial Relays in the 10,000m run. His time of 30:12.48 broke his own school record established last year. He is currently ranked first in the conference, and in the South/Southeast Region.

The track and field teams will compete on Saturday at the University of Central Arkansas Spring Opener in Conway, Ark.
