Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Kissimmee, Fla. - Wednesday morning it was announced that Rhodes College softball moved up to 18th in the March 5, 2019 National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll. That same day, the Lynx snapped an 11-game win streak, suffering losses to Penn St. Berks (2-1) and Muhlenberg (7-1). 

Rhodes found themselves down 2-0 in the sixth inning against Penn St. Berks until Jill Healy doubled in Samantha Feinstein. Jess Mozick kept the Lynx at bay recording nine strikeouts and allowing just two hits. For Rhodes, Bri Maniscalco struck out five batters.

In the nightcap, Muhlenberg led 3-0 when Rhodes tallied their lone run on one hit, a walk, stolen base and wild pitch in the fifth inning. The Mules finished the game with four runs, including three in the sixth. Lauren King suffered her first loss of the season, going 4.1 innings. Leslie Matherne picked up two walks while Peyton Clark tallied the only RBI. 

Rhodes will have Thursday off before they turn to face Webster and Simpson on Friday.
