Box Score Jackson, Miss. - The Rhodes women's tennis team shutout Belhaven in three matches on their way to an 8-1 victory. 

The Lynx went up 2-1 after falling at No. 3-doubles 8-6 before taking all singles matches. Caroline Yarbrough and Madeleine McDonald earned an 8-0 win at No. 2-doubles while Dasha Safarian (No. 2) and Tricia Sculco (No. 5) singles both won 6-0,6-0. In singles play, the Lynx held Belhaven to two or less wins in a set.

Rhodes' match against Huntingdon on Sunday was cancelled after weather predictions indicated rain was headed for Jackson. The Lynx will open conference play this Saturday against Hendrix at home at 9 a.m.
