Bartlett, Tenn. - Rhodes men's swimming hosted Henderson State on Saturday afternoon, their only home event of the season. Prior to the event, the Lynx honored outgoing seniors
Lucas Bradford,
Tanner Martinez,
Christian Stankovic and
Sam Trenner.
Rhodes placed first in six events before totaling 11 top-three finishes in a 116-88 loss to the Reddies.
The Rhodes men opened the meet with a victory in the 400 medley relay. The team of
Zac Gammons,
Richard Gentry,
Hayden Hill and
Evan Ziolkowski swam to a time of 3:35.11.
Ryan Folk then won the 1000 freestyle well ahead of his competitors to a person record time of 10:36.58. His time was 10 seconds faster than his closest competitor and 20 seconds faster than his personal record.
Hill then took home first place in the 200 freestyle (1:44.39), his best of the season. He also won the 200 butterfly later on with Bradford coming in second place. The senior also took fourth in the 200 freestyle.
Harrison Rozman won the 100 freestyle and placed third in the 200 free.
Roland Change led the Lynx to victory in the 400 IM (4:22.43). Gammons place second in the 200 backstroke (2:02.92) while Stankovic earned second place in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.49). Rozman,

Ryan Jones and Moses Arrrington finished the meet with a third place swim in the 400 freestyle relay.
During the meet, other personal bests included swims from
Ian Rappe (200 free, 200 back) as well as
Ben Bryce in the 200 free and 500 free.
Rhodes will travel to Sewanee for their final meet before the conference championships. The Lynx will take on the Tigers at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 19th.
