Orlando, Fla. - Rhodes women's tennis fell to Carthage College early Friday morning 6-3 in their final contest over spring break. The Lynx drop to 3-9 on the year while Carthage improves to 9-4.
The Lynx earned one doubles victory, at the No. 1-slot and then tallied the top two singles wins. After winning a tough first set,
Dasha Safarian put away her opponent 6-0 in set number two.
Caroline Doherty went up one at No. 2-singles before falling in the second set. She also shutout her opponent to win the match.
Tricia Sculco fell in the first set, before forcing a tiebreaker after a 6-1 win in set two.
Rhodes will train for two weeks and then host the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff on March 24th at 11 a.m.
