Conway, Ark. - Rhodes College women's tennis had an early Southern Athletic Association matchup against Hendrix on Saturday. The Lynx took down the hosts 6-3 inside the Hatcher Tennis Center and are now 1-1 on the year overall.
Rhodes won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles before earning their top four singles wins. Freshman
Tricia Sculco earned her first collegiate victory while
Mia Mullen came back from down a set to win the next two for a victory at No. 4 singles.
Caroline Doherty split her first two sets in the No. 2 slot, and after holding a 7-6 advantage in the third set, took over in the tiebreaker to seal the win 7-4.
The Lynx will now look ahead to hosting Delta State at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 17th.
