SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Lynx tennis team faced a tough test against last year's conference champion, Sewanee.
Playing at Sewanee the Lynx started off fighting in doubles and both teams found themselves down 2-1. Then, Sewanee raised their game and jumped out to 6-1 leads on both courts. In the end
Amelia McIsaac and
Anna Volkov lost at No. 1 doubles 8-1 and
Morgan Wilkins and
Elyse Smith lost 8-2 at No. 2 doubles.
In singles Sewanee kept the momentum going as they swept all five singles courts. The Lynx open up play at home next weekend against conference foes Oglethorpe and Berry.
