MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 16 University of the South Tigers women's tennis team swept the Lynx in just their second home Southern Athletic Assocation match of the 2013-2014 season.

The Rhodes women's tennis team played well against a tough Tiger tennis team in doubles, but was unable to register a victory in the first three matches and the visitor never looked back transitioning into singles play.

Amelia McIsaac played number 1 singles player Bronte Goodhue (No. 4 Atlantic South – Singles) close in the first set, but could not hang on to her opponent before the match got away from her 6-3, 6-0.  Morgan Wilkins and Anna Volkov both fell 6-1, 6-1 on courts 2 and 3, and with those victories for University of the South, the match was clinched.

The Rhodes Women's Tennis Team will look to rebound on the road against Oglethorpe University on Saturday, April 12 at 9 a.m.
