Box Score CONWAY, Ark. – The Rhodes softball team fell in the second round of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament on Friday to Birmingham-Southern College, 7-3.
The Lynx finish their season with a record of 26-14 while the Panthers improve to 25-18 overall and move on in the conference tournament.

Jessica Brown doubled to right center, scoring
Erin Parker in the bottom of the inning to make the count 2-1. BSC tacked on three more runs, two in the second and one in the third to push ahead 5-1.
Christine Hume had a sacrifice RBI in the third inning, scoring
Amber Hunt to cut the deficit to 5-2. The Panthers continued to widen the gap, adding runs in the fifth and sixth innings, posting a 7-2 lead. The Lynx offensive spurt in the sixth inning fell short, but not before
Courtney Williams singled, sending home Parker. The Lynx fought with seven hits in the contest, but couldn't overcome and ultimately fell 7-3.
Chloe Hundman got the start for the Lynx, throwing five and two thirds innings.
Emily Cerrito finished the contest with an inning and one third if work, where she allowed zero hits.
