Box Score With rain cancelling the first of the Sunday's two scheduled games, Rhodes College took to the field looking to earn their second SAA series win of the season after yesterday's 1-1 split. 

In the 1st inning Centre scored 3 runs due to poor Lynx defense, the inning set the tone for the rest of the contest.  Rhodes answered with 2 runs of their own in the bottom of the frame, but would not be able to get any closer on the scoreboard.   The Colonels would go on to score a total of 13 runs on 17 hits, beating the Lynx 13-3.  For Rhodes, Emily Cerrito recorded her first collegiate base hit scoring Katie Stich from second base in the bottom of the 6th.

Rhodes returns to action this weekend when they play Fontbonne and #2 Emory at home.   Saturday's games begin at 10:00am with Rhodes vs. Emory.
