COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Rhodes Women Swimming & Diving team remained undefeated Saturday, pushing their record to 4-0 with a 136-66 road victory over Lindsey Wilson College.
Senior Matt Washnock continued his strong weekend with victories in the 50 and 100 freestyles to lead the men in a losing effort. Washnock's 22.97 in the 50 freestyle marked the best in-season time of his career.
The women produced another balanced attack to run away with the meet. Individual winners included
Kelsey Wilson winning the 1000 in a time of 11:27.80,
Megan May winning the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:06.88, and
Corinne Nabors taking the 50 freestyle in a time of 26.81. After a ten minute break,
Ann Griffin kept things moving by winning the 100 fly in a time of 1:03.39,
Olivia Muehlberger touched first in the 100 free in a time of 57.92, and
Elizabeth Medved won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:13.60.
The Lynx capped the weekend with the relay of
Madison Sears,
Abby May,
Alec Marshman, and
Kelsey Wilson winning the 200 freestyle relay in a time of 1:47.31.
The Lynx return to action Saturday Dec. 14 at the Delta State Invitational in Cleveland, Miss.
