MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Rhodes College tied in a conference game against Millsaps College 0-0.
The tie puts the Lynx record at 5-7-2 with a conference record of 0-1-2, and puts Millsaps at 7-5-2 and 2-1-1 in conference play.
Both teams fought hard in today's battle which went into double overtime for the second consecutive game for Rhodes. Millsaps' offense was aggressive with 13 shots on goal. Rhodes' goal keeper,
Riley Sheen, was on point today, and did not allow a single shot by Millsaps to find the back of the net.
"We battled hard against a very good Millsaps team," said head coach
Andy Marcinko. "We survived some tremendous pressure from their attack at times and also did well to put ourselves into several great goal scoring chances only to come up short - we have to be more focused and composed when we get those chances – we have four to five upperclassmen on the field that need to be taking care of us in those situations"
Rhodes College had 13 shots on the day, and Millsaps College had an impressive 28 shots.

Riley Sheen with 13 saves
Rhodes will hit the road for their next two games on Oct. 25 and Oct. 27 stopping at Centre and Sewanee along the way.
