Game 1 (April 14) saw the Lynx fall behind 0-2 and go scoreless for 6 innings before finally pushing 2 runs across in their last at-bats in the top of the 7th inning.  Sparking the Lynx comeback was a clutch pinch hit double to right center field by freshman Allycia Kleine.  Another freshman, Forrest Skelton, who began the game for Rhodes, responded in the bottom of the 7th, shutting down the Majors' bats and taking the contest into extra innings.  In the top of the 8th innings, with momentum on their side, the Lynx struck again, plating 1 and taking a 3-2 lead into the bottom of the 8th.  With the lead, the Lynx turned to senior pitcher Chelsea Peters to secure the game 1 victory - but the Majors had other plans.  In the bottom of the 8th inning, Millsaps evened the score and in the 9th, with Rhodes unable to score in their frame, the Majors ended the game on a walk off 3-run homerun. Final score, Millsaps 6, Rhodes 3.

Game 2 (April 14) the Lynx started Peters and tapped Jessica Becher in relief, but neither pitcher were able to quite the bats being swung by the Majors' lineup.  When the dust settled on game 2, the Majors scored 12 runs to Rhodes 3.  The lone bright spot the Lynx was a 2-run homerun for sophomore Amber Hunt, temporarily extended the game into the 6th inning.

Game 1 (April 15) saw Forrest Skelton and a re-focused Lynx team take the field against the Majors.  With their post-season tournament chances now very much in jeopardy, a more patient, well-rounded team took the field for Rhodes, using everything in their disposal to score runs - and score often.  With Skelton and the Rhodes' defense shutting down Millsaps' offense, the Lynx cruised to a 7-0 win, highlighted by a 3-run homerun by sophomore Courtney Williams

Game 2 (April 15) began with freshman hurler, Madison Moreland, taking the circle for the Lynx.  Moreland struck out the first batter she faced before running into some trouble in the bottom of the 1st.  Chelsea Peters was again called upon to enter the game and shut down the Millsaps' sluggers.  Peters entered the contest with a 2-0 deficit and runners on 2nd and 3rd with only one out - she ended the inning without allowing any runners to advance.  Peters would go on to complete the game for Rhodes but failed to recieve offensive support as the Lynx stranded runners in scoring position throughout the game, unable to score a run.   The final count, Millsaps 6, Rhodes 0.

With the 3 loses over the weekend, Rhodes now finds themselves at 5-7 in conference play, tied for the final spot in the post season conference tournament with their final opponent of the season, Centre.  The winner of the series will advance to the conference tournament held in Jackson, TN on April 27-29.
