Rhodes men's tennis faced Centre College for their second match of Senior Day.
Ryley Erhardt and
Morgan Slevin at #1 started the match down 0-3 but managed to pull it together to close it out 8-4.
Taylor Simmons and
Mason Asbury played solid basic doubles and took the match 8-3 at #3.
Kevin Duffy and
Sanders Phelps had a tough match that went to a tiebreaker but the duo was able to pull out the big points and win the tie-breaker.
Going into singles up 3-0 is much more comfortable than starting down 0-3 like in the first match. The Lynx played solid relaxed tennis and won quickly. The match was called after all 5 points were won by the Lynx.
Mason Asbury clinched the win for Rhodes at #6 with a score of 6-4, 6-0.
Rhodes will play conforence rival, Sewanee, next weekend at Sewanee.
