The Rhodes College men's tennis team fell 4–0 to No. 1 Sewanee Saturday morning at Leftwich Tennis Center in the SAA Semifinals.
Rhodes opened the match by dropping the doubles point, with Sewanee earning wins at Nos. 1 and 3. Oliver Bonovich and Nicholas Miloi fell 6–4 at the top spot, while Owen Fellrath and Topher Thornberry were defeated 6–4 at No. 3. The No. 2 doubles match, featuring Christian Mainella and Paul Fridman, went unfinished.
In singles play, Sewanee secured the match with three straight-set victories.
Nicholas Miloi fell at No. 4 singles, 6–1, 6–0, while Topher Thornberry was defeated 6–1, 6–2 at No. 5. Paul Fridman dropped a 6–3, 6–3 decision at No. 2 as Sewanee clinched the team win.
Oliver Bonovich and Owen Fellrath were both in progress in their respective matches, while the remaining courts went unfinished.
With the result, the team ends their season with an overall record of 12-8.
